Tom - July 13,2007 14:23
I am so glad you are home.
LCDR XXXXX - July 09,2007 08:39
Great, thanks for the gouge. I'll plan accordingly. I have XXXX for a few weeks here and then I'll get another guy for a few weeks and then I have no idea who will be doing XXXX after that....don't care at that point. I have an inbound replacement in the next couple of days. You are now famous your macro tool has hit the prime time and is all over the place. We are running everything through it. Great job and we think of you everyday because of it. Take care and have a great commissioning. I have no doubt our paths will cross again.
Mike Lambert - July 03,2007 16:37
Micah: Hope you are home safely and your are in your family's arms for this 4th of July holiday. Thank you for your unselfish service to our great country and her Navy. God Bless you and your family for your many sacrifices in his name and for the good of the Iraqi people.
Julie - June 21,2007 22:06
Welcome back! Glad to know you're safe at home with your beautiful family, and really grateful for your service - I'm sure you made a difference over there!
Desert Sailor - June 20,2007 17:19
Tadaima!! I'm currently sitting in the USO lounge at BWI. Should arrive MCO (Orlando) tonight 2330. It's been almost 48 hours since we were quarantined for our first flight out of Kuwait. I don't smell pretty. Ready to get home to Hiro, family, and math (uninterrupted by optempo, jackal howls, explosions), get back to Florida and cool down some. It's been a great tour. I wasn't able to move around much over there, but I had rare opportunities to learn about myself, work with other communities outside our usual CT sphere, and see some history unfold up close. I have a new found respect for my fellow service members and even some government employees and contractors. You would not believe how hard these people work for you. They are all volunteers. Many have committed themselves to a military career, not only knowing the optempo and demands which will be placed on them in this Long War, but relishing in it. A surprising number of OIF personnel are Guardspersons and Reservists, those who have taken time out of their civilian lives to serve, many of them doing twelve to eighteen months away from home. Our duty as a society is to ensure their efforts and sacrifices are not in vain. Thanks to everyone for the messages, cards, and packages. They really mean alot over there. If anyone wants to send more packages to Iraq, I have plenty of contacts of people who need it. If anyone would like to spend six to twelve months in Iraq, I can help make that happen, too. Until the next deployment, lots of love all around. Go Navy and Go Gators!
Elena - May 18,2007 15:45

Mom - April 08,2007 22:43
Hey Honey, Happy Easter. Dinner was at the Darrs this year and we sure did miss you. The kids had a good time hunting for eggs and playing. Maybe next year we'll all be together again. Please be safe. I love you.

Hello:) It has been awhile since I have heard from you. I hope you are healthy and safe, as this is all that matters. Drop a line if you have a minute. I will write again soon. The best of luck to you and your lovely family.
Rob Rothman - March 14,2007 22:00
Karen & I recently ran into your parents & I asked how your studies at UF were going; needless to say, we were shocked to hear you're in Baghdad! Since you're doing intelligence, I hope you're safe, if that's possible there. We've been e-mailing for the last 9 months with a 45-year-old neighbor on a remote base in eastern Afghanistan (Kost, to be precise). He was 3 months away from retirement in the Navy Reserves (in Sept. '06) when he was suddenly transferred to the Army & sent over there. He's been to the Middle East many times but always as a staff liaison for officers; he's supposed to be training Afghans how to fight & build a base. Anyway, we'd love to hear from you; be safe; we look forward to seeing you soon!
Elena - March 11,2007 16:27
Hello, I hope things are going well with you. Everyone in NIOC sends best regards to you and your wonderful family. You lovely wife just stopped by the unit. We will send you a few pictures from her visit here. I hope soon as some people are as late as 6 months behind in sending pictures :) Stay healthy and be safe. Most sincerely, Elena
JoAnn Schafer - March 09,2007 22:40

Big Dog - March 04,2007 22:12
Micah ...Sixty Minutes had blurb on Jihadist use of the internet tonite - BG Custer had a lot of face time and did pretty well I thought - caused me to reflect a bit on your latest adventures. Hope all is well. My friend Capt Kelly of PT728 fame is no longer skippering the PT Boat, but he is in town and talking to him reminded me of your Mom and our conversation when you were in Mass . You'll be doing better than we are if you get Bob to write, but he's still B0BMasters@aol.com if you want to try and wake him up ... :) Keep your head down and hurry home - yell if I can do anything ..
Elena - March 04,2007 12:39

Tom - February 6, 2007 16:31
I was going to mail you some stuff I thought you might need, things I would want if I were in Baghdad, but I see all the things I was going to send are "prohibited."
Paul and Nancy Heineman - February 5, 2007 15:48
We were amazed to learn you'd been deployed, when we spoke with your Mom and Dad at the Symphony. When we expressed our concern, your Dad whipped out a card so we could leave a message for you. Little did we know that when we went on the site, we were also able to see you in fatigues with your wife and parents. Lookin' good! Be safe, do your thing, come home soon and know we're thinking about you and praying for you more than you can imagine. Love, Paul and Nan
Mom - February 4, 2007 14:27
While standing in Victory Lane after the Rolex 24 Hour, the Grand Marshall, "King" Richard Petty, signed a ball cap for me. When he finished and was turning to walk away, I told him it was going to my son in Baghdad. He came right back to me, grabbed me, and said, "You tell him I said thank-you for what he's doing." Then he posed for a picture with me. All of which we're sending to you. Cool, huh? Love ya.
Dave - February 2, 2007 12:22
Hey buddy, I hope you're doing ok over there. Talked to Brigdon last night, he says hello. I salute Lami in his proud duty of keeping watch over our loved ones.
The REAL Master Chief - February 2, 2007 8:57
"The OTHER Master Chief?" Perhaps I failed to properly mentor this senior officer. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking about you, and am awfully proud of what you're doing. You need anything, you just let me know - Mario and company still know where to find me. Stay well, safe and strong. Cheers, m.a.
The Big Dog - February 2, 2007 5:20

Hey Micah, I was just clicking around and clicked on the webpage link that I have on my webpage. I didn't know you went to Iraq. I know you can't say much, but is your duty there for a long time or short time, or is that even saying too much? what is your work e-mail address? Take care, Zacherfamily, Tom, Izumi, Kimiko and Suzuna.
